WELCOME MARION Marion Lecot joined us for 6 months in April. Having completed a 5-year upholstery apprenticeship near Tours in France Marion’s placement here was part of a Europe-wide Mobility Project, funded by the Leonardo Programme. "I am keen to learn traditional British techniques," Marion said, "and my placement means that we can exchange knowledge and skills for our own businesses in future." The team was delighted when Marion then accepted a further 6-month contract. "Her precision and expertise in French techniques are a bonus to Kendal Upholstery and to our students," said Rachel.
