He is committed to the preservation of traditional crafts and artistry and to the development of time honoured skills associated with traditional upholstery. Having recently undertaken some conservation work for Lowther Castle his interest in special preservation techniques is a growing area of the business. "There is always more to learn, new challenges and intricacy of fine detail." Based on traditional preparations used in the workshop and made on the premises Kendal Upholstery has developed a range of high quality products to protect and maintain woodwork. Using natural and locally sourced ingredients our rejuvenating fluid vanishes stains, restoring depth and voice to the grain for finishing and sealing with one of our fine beeswax polishes.
